We might get this for our son for our Aug. trip. Not sure yet if he will need it then...but if so....how does that work with the people in your party?? Is there a max. number of people that can go with him through an alternate entrance. I know with a lot of lines you can take a wheel chair through so not every ride/attraction will need this card. Just wanted to inquire. Thanks

If you are talking about WDW, every line/attraction is wheelchair accessible from the entrance to the point of boarding. The only exceptions are the few attractions that are only accessible to people who can walk - Tomorrowland Transit Authority, Swiss Family Robinson Treehouse, Tom Sawyer Island (the raft and a short distance after getting off the raft are accessible).

There are some attractions where guests using wheelchairs board at a different place and a couple that have an alternate entrance because the regular entrance is not accessible.
Guests using wheelchairs don't need a GAC to use those. The CMs can see the wheelchair and will send you to the accessible entrance or area.

There is more information about GACs in post 6 of the disABILITIES FAQs thread. You can find that thread near the top of this board or follow the link in my signature.
