Guest Arriving at Different Times

Walk me through this, if you will. We will be staying at BWV in several weeks. This is the first time we have had friends join us. We will be arriving one day early and will be hitting MK the day that our friends arrive. We plan to be back at BW early enough to greet them, but if they arrive early or we get held up, what instructions should I give them? Do they check in and get their own room keys / park passes, etc.? And do I need to pay for their park passes in order for them to get the DVC discount? Can they use the complimentary valet parking, or is it for the actual members only?

We did this once. All we did was add our guests name to the reservation and they were able to check in without us.They were so excited that they couldn't wait for us, dropped their luggage and scooted to DTD before we got back to greet them. They even loaded thir luggage into the smallest room, wich I later changed to the medium OKW GV room since they had 4 and our other guests had 3......spruce

I would definitely be sure their name is on the reservation or it is my understanding that they would not be able to check into your room.

We called their names into MS before we left. They came on our 6th day. At check in the desk cut their Resort ID's/Room Keys and left them in an envelope at the desk. Our guests called us on our cell phone when they arrived at OKW and we told them to just go to the desk and ask for the cards. By the time we got back from the park (Epcot) they were in the unit waiting for us.
