Yes, it has been a great run. My DW and I have been working in media centers at two major race tracks for many years. We have developed some great friendships in the racing community

It took 368,000. The blocks are glued together over a metal frame, it is hollow and weighs just under a ton.

I wish my job allowed for me to shoot all weekend, unfortunately the DW and I manage the infield media center desk. I only have limited time to shoot. Have fun at Homestead!

Great Shots Terry!!! I can't wait for the end of the month to get to Dover for the weekend. I don't have the access like you do at Chicagoland, but I love my seats to get the cars coming around the 3rd and 4th corners.

Thanks. It does help to be one of the track photographers! Have fun at Dover. I don't know if they meant to do it or not, but when they built Chicagoland they created some great angles to shoot from. We have a walkway at the top of the grandstand under the suites. From there the fence is not in the way and with a 300mm lens you can get great pit action.
