Guess who has a son thatis 4th in the Nation

Yup another shameless brag from me about my son .

He is 1st in State for Roman Greco style wrestling so he represented Team Texas at National Duels this past week .

We are now 4th in the Nation ! He had some great matches this past week and we are really proud .

We have another National tournement at the end of the month ,So we are almost done with High Scholl wrestling and on to college.

I had to come and brag a little though . Cause my son is 4th in the Nation ! He is now All American and that is a huge deal to any 17 yr old wrestler : )

That's great! Isn't it funny how when we have kids, we're prouder of them when they do something than when we, ourselves, do something that gets noticed. When someone compliments my son, I just burst with pride

You know, I know some people who know some people who could talk to some other people and they could see to it that your son becomes 1st in the nation.

Seriously, though -- congratulations. Being Canadian, I'm not sure what it means to be "All - American" in a sport, but this is certainly a big deal to anyone of any age. Your son has reached a prestige level of ranking and deserves to be proud of his accomplishments.

Shall we be watching for him at the Olympics in 2 years?

Yes he has signed to wrestle for Appalachian State in NC . It is a division one school that has a wonderful wrestling program .
Helps that he wanrs a criminal justice degree adn they are in the top 3 in the nation for that deree : )

We are really excited but I am afraid that Chell will be tired of seeing me so much since she lives close to there and I plan to be there alot ( yeah right LOL) if my son will let me
