HI EVERYONE!!
DH and I have been back since Friday evening and we had a WONDERFUL time in New Orleans. A little trouble the first night with rooms on both sides of us, but the next night was fine. The Aquarium was not what I remembered, it was much better and I did enjoy it so. The Zoo was AMAZING!!! We didn't get to see it all as we had to be back on out boat by 5pm or be stuck at the zoo!
But hey...that just gives us reason to go back. We didn't arrive at the zoo til 3pm as we caught the 2pm boat there and it's about an hour ride. DH slept about the last 25 minutes. 
A nice older couple said he really must have enjoyed the boat ride to be able to nap a little. DH just smiled and said, "You bet!" Our anniversary lunch at NOLA restaurant (one of Emeril Lagasse's restaurants) was OFF THE CHAIN!!! The service, the food, and the atmosphere was amazing! The only problem we had was DH was a wearing a sleeveless shirt and they asked him to put on his jacket. I forget and picked the wrong shirt for him to wear. I meant to pick one with sleeves for lunch and one without sleeves for the zoo so he didn't burn up. It was all just fine though. His jean jacket dressed him up a bit and he was comfortable. As soon as I have the opportunity, I will get the pics online. I'll have to create another photo album under another yahoo name as mine now is about 10% from being full. We did the House Of Blues for dinner and it was quite nice...noisy, but hey...it's the HOB right?? 
Just wanted to give a minature trip report, I'll have more details as I get the pics online.
