I'm pregnant!! OMG...surprise! You're the first and only people I have told. Hubby doesn't even know, lol. Just took a test today...and yes I am telling hubby tonight....just didn't want to tell him over the phone, lol. :cool1: Ok....hubby and I have a couple's trip planned for next February. I'm overly excited about being pregnant, shocked but excited...I am a tad bit bummed about having all these plans of having so much freedom going just us, finally riding rides together instead of splitting up due to young ones not being big enough to ride, etc etc. Should we cancel the trip?? I know moms go all the time pregnant, lol....we'll still have fun regardless. Have you gone pregnant? How was it?

CONGRATS!

party:

No idea about the other stuff, but just wanted to throw that in!

Congratulations! :cheer2:

You'll be about 5-months pregnant in February ... you should be FINE! You'll just have to skip the wilder rides.

Congratulations!!!! :cool1:

How exciting!!!

I can only speak for my own experience (because I know there are plenty of women who go to Disney pregnant and are 100% fine) but, I was there between 18-19 weeks pregnant this past August....and I can honestly say I have no desire to do Disney pregnant EVER AGAIN.

One thing you won't face in February is the oppressive heat I had in August, the swelling...ohhhh, the swelling....

I cried a few times when my kids and DH went on rides that I couldn't go on. I felt a bit left out.

I did it, but wouldn't recommend it to anyone. I was pretty miserable.

Looking forward to our next trip in April though!!! Little man will be on the outside and I will be much happier!! :goodvibes

Wow, congratulations! Never been to Disney pregnant; but, for both of my pregnancies months 5-7 were awesome. I wasn’t sick anymore and could eat normally and my energy came back. It won’t be too hot in February so I wouldn’t worry as long as you avoid the rides you should avoid. Probably good to get something in before #4.

Going when I will be about 27 weeks. I will miss 7 dwarves and Tower of terror. :-(

I have been pregnant before and I found following the height restrictions helped me to know what rides to enjoy for the most part. Pregnancy tends to be a time for me to stop and smell the roses.

I did have one visit for one pregnancy where I had to rent an ECV. Not sure what made this different, but short of sitting down--it was just too much. Didn't have a problem other times.

Congratulations! Don't cancel. You will have a great time. I went before when I was pregnant and it was fine. Be mindful of the ride warnings. These are not only because rides are rough, but could also be because of seat designs.

Congratulations!!! I live right next to the Mouse, and went a lot during both of my pregnancies. When it came to rides, my doctor told me the easiest way to remember what you can and can't ride is to only go on the rides that you would take a newborn baby on. That helped a lot! Good luck!

Congrats!! And if it were up to me, I would totally still go!! Even if you can't do ALL the rides it will still just be so nice to have alone time, eat a hot meal without any little people mooching off your plate and stroll the parks at your leisure etc.. Consider it a babymoon before #4 arrives. I'm sure you will enjoy the time with just your hubby. You might even see parts of Disney you've never seen before. Enjoy!!

My dd will be about 10 weeks when she goes on Nov 8. She's a little bummed about what she can't ride but is still excited to just be there. She does have to use a ECV because of medical issues not related to the pregnancy. She's in the midst of all day morning sickness so hopefully that let's up a bit before she goes.

Thanks all! I feel better now about going, just him and I. My hubby suggested just taking the kids then....I thought about it for 1.5 seconds and said heck no, lol. We'll enjoy, like some said, we'll enjoy the alone time! We'll still be able to go the majority of the rides. So woop woop here we come, lol. :cool1:

Congratulations! I'm echoing what others have said ~ don't cancel! It won't be too hot, you should be able to go on most rides and you'll get to enjoy some alone time with your husband. I went when I was pregnant ~ I wouldn't recommend doing what I did (took a 2 year old when I was 6 months pregnant with twins in July) but I still enjoyed myself. I just took breaks when needed, drank extra water, and didn't push myself to stay up too late if I was tired. There were nights I fell asleep with my son while DH went out on his own. Anyway, I think you'll be fine ~ congratulations again!
