Peepee on the potty! (now picture a mom jumping up and down dancing to that) That makes 5 times using it since Saturday. You would have thought we won the lottery. Of course the only thing I could think of was not having to bring diapers to WDW in the fall. I'm so proud of her and she is only 2 1/2. Whooo hoooo

Congratulations!!!! That is huge! We were able to start our diaper free trips to WDW this past summer and it was wonderful!
Hope she keeps up the good work.

Thanks fellow diser's. It helps to have an older brother who brings her into the bathroom and encourages her. Too see the look of pride on her little face.

Congratulations!

It really is a milestone for your DD. You must be so proud.

I think I have just mastered getting my DD's through the night. I procrastinated for a long time because I didn't want to change beds every night. I finally bit the bullet. DD4 did beautifully, it only took her a few times. DD3 would have accidents several times a week.

We recently moved into FIL's house while ours is being remodeled. Since our move, she has been dry almost every night. Maybe she just had a bad habit that took the move to break.

Congrats to your big girl.:) That's quite an accomplishment for a 2 1/2 yo.:) I think you need to take her to WDW to celebrate.:teeth:

Woo hoo! I remember those days with my kids. We used to light a candle and sing "Happy Potty to you!". :sunny:

Congrats to your big girl!

Congratulations to you and your grown-up princess!! princess:

Wow! Way to go DD! I need to get crackin with my 2 1/2 year old.....I have the potty seat somewhere........DS#1 was 3 1/2 before he "got" it....and then within a week he was 100% trained, nighttime too. Occasional accident, but no biggee.

Break out the ice cream with sprinkles! My daughter will be 3 in May, we've been potty-training off and on since last May!!!

She did great at first, then the novelty wore off, then we had DS and she wouldn't even go in the bathroom.

Now she is pretty much trained, she will do almost anything for ice cream.

We use the crib for time-out (DS still in bassinet), and a few weeks ago, every time she went in time-out (1-2 times/day), she would PEE!!!!!

It would make me crazy.

So......DH told her that if she went 3 days without peeing in time-out and in her pants because she was too lazy, she could have Jungle Book 2. Again, cured!

Plus, she is ready for size 4 diapers, there is no way I am buying those! She is tiny and DS is huge, they both wear size 3, sooo much easier. DS is 5 months old.

It's amazing, she can go all day (even through naptime) at preschool without an accident, and then the next day at home pee in her pants all day! And I know her teachers don't take her to the bathroom every 5 minutes.

Another funny thing is that she had to use the seat that actually goes on the regular toilet, no little baby seat for her. Now, she doesn't even want the seat on the big toilet. She did fall in once....ROTFLOL! Of course, DH & I couldn't laugh immediately, I had to rescue her, but I'm still laughing and it was over a month ago!

Congrats! :bounce:

Isn't that the best feeling?!?!?!?!?!

Woo Hoo for you!

DD2 is 2yrs and 3mos, and she is 100% first thing in the am and about 60% at night before bath. She has just started the phase of: as soon as she wets her diaper, she wants to go sit on the potty! Last step towards recognizing the need to go potty! Yippee!

I cannot wait until we are out of diapers!! What a $$$ saver! More $ for WDW! :rotfl:

Well I may be in the minority here but I put diapers on her FOR Disney......it was SO much easier having her in diapers rather than just getting to the front of the line and hearing "mommy I need to go potty!" My daughter did everything backwards anyway, she was night trained and poop trained at 2 but during the day she was so lazy she just went in her diaper, but she hated the feeling of poop in her diaper so for that she ran to the potty....she told me that pee feels nice in a diaper, how do you train someone that likes peeing in a diaper LOL?? She has had one accident in bed since she was 2.

Potty Update: Well not to brag but she also went number 2 on the potty last night. It was such a surprise. Of course now I can't get her off. She must have pulled out that potty chair a half a dozen times last night. This morning she sat on it and pulled out the disney magazine to look at while she was sitting. OK just one more cute thing. She was completely naked because I had taken her out of her pajamas and was getting her clothes after she sat on the potty. All of a sudden I look up and she is running around the house with only Mickey Mouse ears on.
