Guess what I just did?

I booked Polynesian w/ free dining for August for a mommy daughter trip! My husband thinks I'm kidding! I didn't plan on going to WDW this year. Something just possessed my to pick up the phone and cal WDW.

I origanlly booked a Sunday-Thursday but switched to Monday-Friday and the price went down over $400.00 but I'm not complaining! I asked if it switched seasons that day but the CM said no. I also got all the dining ADR's I wanted.

Now do I tell my daughter tonight or surprise her?

I would surprise her by bringing her to The Disney store and telling to pick something out to ware on her WDW vacation. You and your DD will have a great time

I'd say surprise her! I tried to do the "surprise" element for this trip but the kids found out when I ended up on the phone with CRO for an hour the day free dining was released...I was caught

I vote surprise her. Not because of her precious reaction but to keep her from driving you crazy before your trip gets here.

Ooooooh, that is a tough one! Surprises are fun, but knowing ahead of time is just as much fun! Shopping, watching the planning dvd, etc. If your DD is little, then Parla might be right. My DD will be 16 this Dec, and her present will be her first trip to WDW (It will not be until Feb 08.) I did the same thing last year. She is an ice skater and for her birthday, I wrapped the tickets to go to the US Nationals in January. She was so excited. The anticipation and planning was fun! What ever you decide to do will put your daughter on
