Guess What I Heard Last Night???

Shortly after midnight I woke up to the strangest sound. It was the sound of coyotes. It was such an eerie noise. The animal had to have been fairly close to my house. The next sound I heard was the lab next door making a weird howling/distress noise. Very scary. Then, I heard the man come out and start whistling for his dog. I was worried about my cats, but not about to go out alone to look for them. The animal noise died down and then the neighbor man decided it was a great time to crank up his stereo. So, for the next hour and half I had to listen to some kind of music blaring in the neigborhood. It was so loud I could hear it over my air conditioner. Can't decide what was worse, the coyote or the stereo. Very strange night. Hope tonight will be quieter.

We have coyotes up here in Ct. I would make sure my cats were inside at night.

We had Coyotes in Calif. where we lived and it is indeed a very lonely, eerie sound but the stereo is awful! You should have called the police...don't they have sound pollution laws where you live?...for us it was after 10pm ...
Hope your kitties are safe and sound....I would keep them in at night for a while just to keep them safe.
Hope you get some sleep tonight!

We have a pack of coyotes near our house. Sometimes when I am using my table or radial arm saw they will "answer" it. I guess when you live in the country it doesn't bother you as much
