Okay... Finally.. I am back!!!
Alright, we left off with me completely unable to operate a vehicle at the Indy Speedway!! I still chuckle when I think of that!!! Anyone else have a problem driving those things???? Well.. after taking my spin... I am pretty pleased with all that I have accomplished so far this morning...I head over to check out the wait times in Tomorrowland.. to see if the morning crowds have started filling the park.. and sure enough.. the wait times have jumped up.. I decide to head on out and venture over to AK... I take my time walking to the front of the park and encounter the trolley show on main street... this is a cute show I happened to see when I took my Keys to the Kingdom tour last year.. and I think the CM's are great to watch..if you haven't seen it yet.. make sure you ask when you arrive when it will be happening.. (I know it is several times each morning on main street) ... the show progresses down main street from the direction of the castle and they end at the beginning of main street... they stop I think 2 or 3 times on Main street and do their little dance and song routines.. I happened to catch the last one before they run off.. and boy oh boy..am I glad I did.. Now.. if you didn't know before, I am a performer.. I sing, dance, direct, choreograph, etc. etc. etc.... so.. when I watch the shows, I, in addition to wishing it was me up there, tend to watch the CM's faces for those little interactions that happen between them.. the ones that no-one would usually catch.. unless you too are a performer and have done them yourself... they can be as slight as a smile to another performer that looks to the outside world as just that.. a smile.. but to another performer it say.. OMG.. do you see what that guest is wearing???.. or... "told ya we should not have gone out drinking last night"... Little inside jokes ... really funny... Well.. today I saw alot of looks going back and forth between that CM's..and quite a bit of laughter.. their lip syncing was shot to heck... I was wondering what was going on... and then I saw it... One of the Girls was losing her petticoat... it just kept falling.. she didn't lose a step though.. she would hike it up in the middle of a dance step.. and then little by little it would start to slide down.. Well.. this was cracking them all up.. even the CM management/security people who follow the show were just hysterical.. Now.. I looked around and Noone else in the audience seemed to be noticing this was going on.. which goes to show just how great this CM was.. she just kept dancing and spinning... and SMILING... what a hoot.. I actually got a shot of this
(insert pic)
It was great fun and I left the magic kingdom laughing and smiling...
I head over to my car and contemplate where I am heading... I haven't hit AK yet.. so I decide to head over there. As I am making my way over to the AK I decide at the last minute to take a detour and pop into the AK Lodge to say hi to some of my CM friends who work at the Concierge at the AKL. I have some of my WWWD buttons that I have been wanting to give them... I am not sure if they will be on duty.. but I think I will take a chance... I get to AKL and approach one of the CM's at the front desk and ask if she can call up to Concierge to see if either of my friends were on duty... You can't just head on up since you need a key card for the elevator... Well.. for some reason, this CM just didn't seem too pleased to have to be bothered making this little phone call... well.. it turns out that my friends were not working.. oh well.. Maybe I would try another day... So.. back out to the car... and off to the AK... now.. you would think this would be an easy task.. but not so.. there is a turnoff on the road that says AK when you are leaving the AKL.. but this turnoff is situated that you cannot get into the AK parking lot entrance.. it JUST misses it... so, you cannot go there.. and there is no uturn spot anywhere.. well.. Long Story, Long drive later.. including me missing the turn for the AK AGAIN and ending up back at the AKL..

and starting ALL over again... and then a AK parking CM telling me that the
AAA parking was too far of a walk.. so I should just park in the regular area... NOT.. so I attempted to go back to the entrance to get to the AAA parking and guess what??? I was back on that same road that doesn't let youmake the turn into the AK parking lot.. so.. starting over AGAIN!!! It took me over 1 hour 1/2 to make that "quick" stop at AKL for NO REASON!!!
Well.. at this point it is about 2 o'clock and I venture into the AK... I head on over to Dinoland and check out the wait for Primevial whirl...not too bad.. about 15 min.. so I hop on the line and prepare to be bruised!! As many times as I ride this.. I never learn.. I just love the idea of the ride.. but I wish they would pad it a little better! I always leave AK with a new bruise to Commemorate the experience! The cheerleaders were in full force here at the AK.. but I only encountered them on lines... and I think ALL of them decided to ride Primevial Whirl at the very same time I did.. various hair ribbons and jacket colors were on display at every turn. But that was really the only way I knew they were cheerleaders.. there was none of the loud cheering or crazy large group of teen activity that I had read so much about. I believe that the Cheer groups get a bad rap... From my personal experience this past trip.. there was NEVER an occasion that made me roll my eyes or cover my ears whenever these kids were around... they were all well behaved (well, as well behaved as any teens can be when they are in a large goup and away from their parents!!

) So.. Go kids go
Anyway.. back to my regularly scheduled program! I limp off of Whirl, which I rode with a really cute little girl and her dad... and decide to play some very expensive carnival games.. something I never do.. but hey.. why not!? I, of course, don't win anything... but I had some fun!! I realize that it is almost parade time and I have NEVER seen the AK parade.. so I decide to find a spot to watch and start walking towards asia to grab a spot. Along the way I spot a stuffed Dino on the ground... all by himself.. noone was around.. he was just lying there.. all sad and lonely... I picked him up and looked around to see if there were any kids around that might have lost him.. but nope.. So.. I guess I won something after all.. just a little delayed! :rolleyes..
Oopss.. gotta run.. i will finish tonight!!
