Does anyone have a educated guess as to how long the wait time for Flight of Passage, beginning of August, mid-week, close to park closing?

Touring Plans is estimating 240 minutes at 8:40pm on Aug 8.

That’s an estimated crowd level 6/yellow day.

Touring Plans is estimating 240 minutes at 8:40pm on Aug 8.

Very likely those numbers are based on the "official" posted wait-times
that the ride CMs set up at the attraction entrance.

About half of whatever the posted wait time is. They severely inflate the wait times close to park close to discourage people from getting in line.

And so, the "estimated time" of 240 min. on Aug. 8 may be grossly inaccurate.
Or it could be correct.

Guessing is futile.

Agreed.... I meant half of whatever the posted wait time is on that actual day. I wouldn't venture a guess today as to what that time will actually be.

I'd guess 120-180 minutes. But no matter the wait time, it's still worth getting in line for!

We were there last September, posted wait time was 140 minutes our actual wait time was over 4 hours!

I checked yesterday's stats on Touring Plans for comparison purposes. Just before closing time, the posted wait was 120 minutes and the actual wait was 31 minutes.

This seems reasonable as we've often found the posted wait times to be about 4 times that actual wait on many of the headliners near the end of the evening.

Wow, that really stinks. It’s like a hand in poker, where you say “I’m in this far, I’m not going to fold now”. I’d imagine you considered folding at several points along the way.

We really did consider leaving after about 2 hours but we were there during the hurricane and weren’t sure if we would get to do our 2nd AK day with our fast passes so we waited. Turns out we switched our day last minute and guest services gave us fast passes for the ones we missed and we ended up doing it twice that week. I’m trying for 3 times this trip!

Yes, we absolutely can give you a reliable estimate of one ride's wait time 4 months in advance...:rolleyes2

5 minutes.

Really, it's no more or less valid than any other guess here. :magnify:
