I knew I had to have something go wrong with me this summer! As some of you will know, I am under huge stress at the moment. Wedding is in 84 days (according to my Google countdown), house isn't selling at all, switching estate agents as current ones not doing their job, economy falling apart around us, fiancee driving a 3hr round trip several times a week and having to live with his parents, trying to pass my driving test, trying to stay on top of university, worrying about exam results for me and friends who graduate this summer, trying to find a job. Phew, I think that's most of it!
Well all that had to manifest somewhere and today I found out where it has picked. I noticed my vision going a bit blurry the last month (slight difficulty reading road signs when out driving, increased headaches etc) so today I had an appointment at the opticians and my left eye is not focusing correctly so I need glasses.
My right one is struggling too but not as much, probably just having to compensate for lefty who is doing bupkiss right now it seems. Optician believes it is entirely stress related and will probably disappear once the stress dies down but for now, I'm officially short sighted.
Stress huh? Seriously, who needs it???
On the plus side, I got my latest exam results this past week and they are my highest since going to university - 92% which is equal to a Grade 1 Distinction.
My best friend also got her results and has officially graduated university with a 2.2 in Egyptology and Ancient Greek!
