Me and a friend booked a trip for early September, but she backed out because of something. I was just gonna cancel as well, but I already have the time off of work and airline tix so why waste it. Plus with my AP discount, I'll be paying as much as I was expecting going with a second person, except I'll just be staying in a Value rather than a Moderate.
I thought about it for a couple weeks, but I think I'm make the right call

Hi Ryan. I'm exploring all my options. I am going solo to WDW very soon. I have complete flexibility about travel dates. Let me know if you have an interest in meeting up. If so, I'll send you more info. This is my first solo trip there.

My upcoming trip will be my second solo visit. Trust me, you will have a great time. It's a totally different experience, but just as satisfying as being there with someone else. You can really lose yourself in the magic and go wherever you want to on your schedule.

Hi I'm a middle aged solo traveller love going to Disney to reconnect with my inner child, to be honest it is only just under the surface! I feel safe there and enjoy meeting people in the parks in the queues and on the bus. Will be there or the FWF end of September first wek in October.

I have done many solo trips and have always had a great time. I have also met many wonderful people from all over the world.

Don't worry about it at all! You'll have a great time! I've been down solo many times, and always have a wonderful time. Not to mention, you're in the happiest place on earth! Chat up some folks - I've met some great people on my solo trips!;)

well have to admit to even being older..... had a trip planned for Sept 29-Oct 4 = but decided my cousin (she is going thru a bad time) needed it worst. Still going in Dec!

I'm getting excited about it now. I figure It can be much more relaxing than my other Disney trips. It is a short trip sept 6-10th, but I'm already thinking about sleeping later than I usually do and coming home from vacation nice and relaxed! :rotfl2:
And I'm always up for meeting new people, so If you're there at the same, I wouldn't mind meeting up! :thumbsup2

I arrive on 9/29! My first solo trip.... Excited and very nervous at the same time.

I've only been solo once (plus a couple of days waiting for my sis)
It is very different on your own, but can be fun and relaxing. I planned suppers a little later to give me something to do in the evenings.
I did all the rope drops but sleeping in is also an option. I didn't spend much time at the resort as it was near to freezing temps last Feb:rotfl:
I rode my favourite rides many times, gave my least favourite a miss. Go to AoA if you haven't been, it is truly amazing, the food is pretty good too.
I talk to everyone who wants to talk, and I'm not especially outgoing.
I hope you can meet up with other Disers! Have a great time!

I will be there 9/9 - 9/15. This was supposed to be a solo trip...until 8 family members decided they wanted to tag along! I know for sure will be at MK on 9/9 as we have BOG reso.

I'm a retired single teacher and don't know too many people to travel with. I miss my trips to DisneyWorld so I'm thinking about doing it alone sometime soon if I can make it affordable. Have a great time Ryan and let us know how it went!

I've gone solo a few times and really enjoyed it!! I would go solo any day over not going.. Have fun!

I'll be there September 4-14. It was a solo trip until a couple days ago, but now I talked a friend into going.

I actually have a couple friends who are going at the same time so it's no longer a solo trip! I'll be staying with them at AKL, and it should be a blast!

Haven't booked yet (probably really really soon though) but planning to go in the second week of December. Nervous about going alone as it will be my first solo trip ever.

Well I am new to the site and am a 40 yr old single (divorced) guy. I decided to hook up my Travel Trailer and go solo. I was doubting it myself but I said so what. I have always went to Disney and had to wait on others so now I am doing it alone. Staying at FW Sept 8-13. Can't wait!
