Guess I was wrong. Ignore this thread.

They are one time bonuses. Futhermore, it doesn't matter what mix you play. It is a cumulative total for all. You don't get another bonus for each new mix you play 50/100 times. So it's a one-shot deal all around.

Are you sure about that? I just got a 50 play bonus yesterday with a character that I've had for almost a year. I'm pretty sure I've played songs more than 50 times with that character in the last year.

Well, they mean for credits, but actually, it's not every hour, it's every 15 minutes. However, every time you play a song, whether or not you get credits for it, it still counts toward the 50 and 100 play bonuses, which are huge.
I used to wonder about this, but I just assumed that those "non-credit" plays didn't count for anything. Will have to test it out some time.
So in 2 hours you can make 2,550 credits.

Or... you could make more than that playing pirates and actually have some fun at the same time. Idk, the mind-numbing effect of music playing or nedding has to factor in somewhere.

2550/2= number of killed brain cells x level of boredom / hour

Just my 2 cents...

So true!

But even apart from nedding and the music game, endless repetition is a common theme for VMK. (Think Narnia Adventure and Dead Man's Chest games; even good old Yeti Vision when it used to shell out credits.) I think all players choose the degree of repetition they're willing to endure, be it nedding, multiple "dailies" from npcs, whatever.

Pirates is certainly a more interesting way to earn credits. But what's amazing is that when I factor in the time spent waiting for games to fill up and start, I haven't found much difference in the credit amount per hour compared to nedding! (Based on regular credit days, of course.)

I use Jungle Cruise and the music game primarily for "rounding up" my credits; helps me to feel like I'm making progress.

Yeah, that's what I thought. :goodvibes

I'm bored so I tested this out since I have gotten my 50th and stuff on this girl already I thought I'd use her. It won't work. Those bonuses are a one shot deal it looks like. I even kept count. So there goes that way of getting credits so Nedding it is. LOL And by the way if you are curious, you can play 33 one note mixes in 15 minutes if you keep going and don't stop.:rotfl:

Yeah, I discovered that today, as well. I guess the extra fifty play bonus I got yesterday was a fluke or a glitch :headache: Sorry about that.

No reason to be sorry. You tried to help others out in finding a way to earn some more credits. It was worth a shot. ;) Ashamed it doesn't work too.

I've been reading this post with some amusement...being an actual Ned. I go Nedding every day. I encourage everyone to go Nedding! It's fun, it's entertaining, and there are free cookies. Oh wait, that's just me. :)

Signed,
Ned
