I bought a black leather Coach purse at an outlet store two years ago. I have used it almost every day since. I love it! I have been pretty good at taking care of the leather...cleaning it, etc. The leather on the strap is starting to come off. It is the side part of the strap that is only maybe an eighth of an inch if that makes since. It is cracking in some places and completely gone in others. Is this something that they would fix? If so how do I go about doing that? It isn't very noticable but even at outlet prices this was an expensive purchase and I would like to keep it in good shape. Any help would be appreciated!!! :teeth:

I'm not sure, but if I can remember correctly, you can take it to a Coach dealer, even an outlet, pay $20 and they will send it to Coach. Any problems will be fixed and it will be shipped back to your door.

Anyone please jump in here and correct me if I am wrong.

I'm not sure if the Outlet has different policies.

Coach policy is "Coach products are made to ensure satisfaction and service for the natural life of the product. If, during its lifetime, your item should require repair, we offer a repair service for many of our products. There is a $20 shipping & handling charge for each item submitted for repair. " Though I have heard of people getting repairs/new bags for free.

Thanks for the help. I will have to give it a try. $20 isn't bad compared to what the bag cost.

My mom did the $20 with a bag from the Outlet, so it can be done. :thumbsup2
