GRRRRR!!!! Can't get my Ressie for Oct 12-16th UPDATE!!!!!!

SIL made her ressie the other day and I called yesterday and couldn't get one. This stinks because SIL really wanted us to be close by looks like I might have to go value, but would much rather camp.

Go ahead and make a reservation for the Value and keep trying fo FW. If FW opens up you can transfer the $$ from the value to the FW reservation.

I would still keep trying. Call first thing when CRO opens in the a.m. Perhaps a cancellation will update during the night and an opening may become available. You still have a while to go. Good luck and enjoy your trip.

Well, a wise diser once said that if you can get your dates try adding a day. Sure enough I change my request from 4 nights to five nights, and spots opened up. I really don't understand the reasoning here, I guess they reserve in blocks of days, doesn't seem logical , I mean if they can sell the spot from Thursday to Monday why don't they just sell it?
Obviously the spots were not reserved for those four days since I was able to get those days plus one more.

Oh well...guess I'll have to suffer through an extra day at the Fort

Stay the extra day if you can, but you can also call back later and drop off the day you don't need.
