Grrr....Vent

Because of the power outage this week, I couldn't deposit the check at our bank until Saturday! This after we got our checks Thursday night!
Can you believe that, during the power outage, I worked 11 hrs Thursday night (and no, I am not a police officer/firefighter)? I work as a truck dispatcher for a company with a HUGE generator and our department is always the last to be sent home.

In addition to being irresponsible and somewhat unethical, using the card for your personal expenses is probably a violation of the agreement between the credit card issuer and your employer. I know that mine is.

I agree - you need a savings account for emergencies, or at least get your own credit card.
