I've been having some issues with my achillies tendon and I think I might have a small tear in it. They are waiting for the ins to approve an MRI which hopefully will be tomorrow and I'll know before we leave on Friday.

The Dr put me in a "Boot" just in case... But better safe than sorry.

I'm not sure if I'm going to rent a scooter or what yet...we already rented one for my dad thru Walkers. I wonder if I can get a discount on a 2'fer
:rotfl: :rotfl:

My question is has anyone been thru this ? Do I need to stop by and get a GAC ??? ANy suggestions would be great.

They really don't give GACs for mobility or stamina problems, they suggest renting a wheelchair or ECV.

And since you are already renting one from Walkers, I would suggest giving them a call. Note this pretty much restricts you to Disney Transportation and not use of a car.

I visited WDW in February and had just had foot surgery and was in a boot. Since I was unable to walk we rented a wheel chair off property. It was a bit inconvenient - we did stay on property, but used our own vehicle everyday to go to the parks. I was able to get a GAC without any problem at all. Good luck - hope it's nothing serious!
