Grrr I believe Host_phinny opens game early

I didn't finish fast enough, I think I just missed the cut off for prizes at 108... my dd did get an ice cube chair though, and she wanted that more than anything else.

With lots of cool stuff possible, I ended up with
< drum roll >

yet another Blue Haunted Mansion Rocking Chair! :lmao:

I came in 125th which really isn't too bad when you take into account that I crashed and after re-booting it took me 23 minutes to complete the quest!

ROFL, Ant! Me too! Looks like your computer might be slower than mine! I didn't think it possible!
Sending good lucks your way...

PS OT: Why did you have to change your title? Did VMK tell you anything?

Hi all. I logged in after quest was over and discovered i came in 77th or so and got a Jolly Roger pin! It is my favorite pin! Woot! My daughter doesn't have one yet so i am going to give it to her since i have one already. And TikiKrissy to answer your question about changing my title. A host said it was because of the relative reference, the "auntie" part. Which makes no sense at all because i have actually seen a community leader with "dad" in his title and i have someone on my friends list with "auntie" (spelled just like mine) and a real name after it. So i don't know, i don't buy it as a reason. Anyway the quest was fun, thanks Phinny and vmk.

Ok I have never - I repeat NEVER - finished a host quest and got a prize. I usually finish in 200th place or higher. This time, I did the quest- and got in 4th place! 4TH! Which would be great except all I got was a lousy 100 credits! :lmao: (not complaining - I just think its funny!) Was everyone just sleeping when doing that quest?

I came in I don't know what place and got a burning villiage pin? What is that? Anyone feel free to tell me if I am missing the excitement.

I did the Ned quest. Despite totally messing up with finding that skull in the mansion lobby, and having to do Ned twice, I was 44th and won a green tiki rug. I'm very happy with that because that is the color I have the fewest of.

I discovered something that might be encouraging for those of you who see long lines and assume you won't get in the room. I realized quite a while after qruthie finished the Ned quest, there was a possibility that qruthie could try a different quest if she got into the room again so I put her back in line. I think it was around 9:30EST but it may have been even later. The line was at 700 I think. I figured there wasn't a prayer of getting in the room but qruthie almost made it before the room closed. If I had thought to get back in line earlier, qruthie would have had no problem getting in the room a second time. So, don't let long lines discourage you from trying the VMK Pass. You may be pleasantly surprised and get into the room!

The burning village pin is a nice pin I think, not rare but beat 100 credits (sorry Monkey) There was a wide mix of stuff in the quest a few red crads and pink tiki's and some nice pins and other tiki stuff. I came out with a pink tiki. I would have prefered a red crate, but I did not have either. I thought it was a good set up and nice easy quests. it was like a drive by yard sale to cope with the line thing I think. I would say two thirds of participants got a prize.

I must admit, a mule of mine also did a quest. I have no idea what the prize was. I will have to check tomorrow. I was so busy with fireworks and didn't want to miss close I just forgot. I'll let you know tomorrow.

That one got in line at 200+ and waited while I cooked dinner. Maybe my red crate is there......

how do you know where you placed??

When the quest is over it sends you a message. If you logged off vmk before the quest was over, the message will appear next time you log in. I hope you won somthing Ran!:)

Sigh- I did the quest- with all the jewels to find and no mini games and was 108th and got nothing... sigh at least I didn't have to wait long

But when they have these host quests I never get anything in them- but I usually do have fun...

I figure 100 prizes in each quest? so 300 total prizes last night- and the line queue stayed at 790 something most of the time I was on (after I did my quest and while waiting)

I sort of wish they'd do this type of quest according to how soon the quests are completed- not when timed- that way everyone would get something- even if it was a brown crate or 50 credits- if you completed the quest you get something- and still she could have random good stuff thrown in. Easy enough to have more than one quest kiosk loaded and ready to go to replace if all prizes awarded in one machine run out before the end of the room time... just drop the new one and pick up the old...

I think they are focusing on solutions to the line. If it was a yard sale as we have seen in the past then probably we would be lucky if 200 people got through. As it was, if a forth quest was added probably more people would have gotten prizes but it still depends on how many try which of the different quests. The key factor in placing in one of the quests was wether or not Phineas would come out. The line again filled about instantly, I got in line at 12 my DW got in line around 470 and was about 10:30 est when she got in so i figure maybe 550-600 people got in. Really not to bad. on quest offered around 100 prizes, the other 2 offered around 120 prizes so it was in the neighborhood of 350 people awarded something, around 60% which is lower then i projected earlier. I would agree dropping more quests as they went along would offer more people a chance. Unfortunatly none of the host events are aimed at gaurenteeing every participant a prize, because of that 50% or better is not bad but 600 is a low number of participants I would guess 400 people never got in that were in line and that many did not bother because of the nature of the line and type of event.

My mule got like 3rd and 100 credit whoopie! LOL. I did the quest that required jungle cruise with both characters because I assumed less people would do the one with a mini game. I guess I was right! Apparently I went too fast the second time, oh well. I'm grateful I got in at all and won a prize at all let alone two!

I got a red crate on the jungle cruise quest. I liked that she had 3 quest machines open. Gave more people a chance to win.
