grrr....broken laptop

Had the laptop since July and have managed to break to the charger lead...it is still under warrenty but i think it is also my kinda fault as it looks pulled etc....its a dell dimension 1525. I've looked at ebay but only foreign ones avalible...any advice?? Please help as it wont work at all!!!

Try Maplins in Merry hill take your charger with you and they will order one for you. If not there is a computer shop in Netherton owned by a friend of ours Steve he may be a ble to help.

The wire which leads into the laptop...it's the bit between the wire and the actual connector into the laptop. It's been strectched and twisted.

If its under warranty ring Dell and tell them its not working. Tell them you know its the lead as you have tried a friends with same model and it works no problem. They will send you a replacement and tell you to thow old one away. Did it twice last year no problems.
Tried it with PCworld with Toshiba laptop a few month back(we have always had problems with twisted power leads) they would not replace, had to send the whole laptop back to them before they would do anything. Even though Toshiba are 10x better machines PCworld are useless if anything goes wrong.
