GRR! This makes me mad!

I was in a room, and a girl says something that would be considered inapropriate. I reported her and I get a message from VMK Staff about 5 minutes later. This is what I got:

Unbelievable! I try to do my part in making VMK a better place and I get threatened to be banned? UGH!!!

The only time I bother to report any more is when someone is pretending to be staff or when they do something SERIOUSLY wrong. Otherwise its just really not worth risking it.

If I find it necessary to report, I use the contact us option, as opposed to the report button. It eliminates the dictionary too.

I am not sure how they send those messages out (by person, computer or whatever). I have never sent anything more for a report though when needed that says something along the lines of how they should check that person's chat because they are not following vmk values. I have never gotten that message once I started doing it that way. The messgae you got is one sent out to many that report and they never get banned. I do think they should look into fixing that problem at some point here soon instead of freaking players out about reporting others whent it is for something against rules.

PopStar....it looks like you got a message about calling for help. Did you report, or call for help. They are two different things. I'm not sure anyone gets a positive response from using help, so I don't get it's purpose.

Call for help needs to be for times like you feel threatened, or afraid something bad could happen. Its for 911 emergencies in VMK world.
Because you think something is innappropiate (And it may have been) is not an emergency. Maybe try to think along those lines and it will help keep the innocent from getting those messages.

I happen to disagree. It is suppose to be there to report those that go against the VMK rules. Doesn't matter what it is. If someone is doing something that is against rules it should be reported and VMK should be looking into it and taking care of the person breaking the rules. Sadly that message though ends up sent out to people when it shouldn't be. The ones that should get that message are those that feel they need to report cause someone won't give them free or do the trade they want and so on which isn't against the rules. The way their system is set up for reporting those going against the rules needs to really be redone and fixed so things are looked at correctly and messages like that are sent to who they need to be sent to.
