grow bulbs

Where do you find cheap grow light bulbs? I need one that fits either in my fish tank, my pre-existing lamp or is in a clip light. im trying to keep my failing garden alive

Home Depot should sell grow lights. Any light will do, I think fluorescent was used in the past due to cost. Plants don't know the difference. Are you sure it's light that is the problem?? Most problems are due to over/under watering.

I've bought them at Walmart, Lowes and Home Depot over the years. Walmart was always the leaset expensive for grow lights.

I use a regular shop-light florescent fixture with one warm and one cool bulb over my seedlings and plants I bring in for winter. It is cheaper than full spectrum (grow light) bulbs, but the plants do just fine.

think I will have to try the shop light idea. We have about a billion (or so it seems when there falling off the shelf) of these in the basement.
