Please bear with me, I am fairly new to these posts and haven't explored this one fully, but I had a few questions about ground transportation from the airport to a disney hotel. First of all I am looking for any positive or negative feedback for any town car service. We usually take the Mears shuttle, but this year we are looking into a town car. It will be for me, my mom, my 4yo DS and 1yo DD. My questions include: Are there hidden costs to the price they quote ie added fees, taxes etc..? What happens if your plane is delayed or cancelled? Do any offer discounts for AAA etc? How much do you tip per way? Do they supply carseats and is there an added fee? Any advice would be GREATLY appreciated! Thanks! :earsgirl:

Support the site and give FL Tours and call. You will most likely be pleased. On their site they have an excellent FAQ section which should answer most of your questions. If you are like us, if you have ever used Mears and opt for a towncar, you'll not want to go back to the shuttle transportation.:D

They track your flight # so they know if you will be arriving late and schedule the drivers accordingly (there are always drivers going back and forth to the airport).

The fares on the websites should be inclusive of everything except the tip. The only discounts I've heard of is the coupons on the websites. I used Tiffany a couple times and tipped $10 each way.

Some places provide carseats for free, others charge. Sometimes there is only one carseat however (when we took Tiffany, they could only put one carseat in a towncar - we brought a belt adjuster along for my five year old). However, given that the Mears van is carseatless, one carseat is a vast improvement.

We had good luck with Tiffany, poor luck with Cartier (though others have had other experiences).
