Groucho? 11 days? Beach Club? 4-year & 8-month-old? Tons of pics? Yes! (finally done)

I was just watching the Star Wars parade on youtube today with the boys and they were LOVING IT! We've been there for a day during the Star Wars weekend and it was pretty packed. Unfortunately, the kids weren't into it at the time but now they want to go back for it:confused3

Is it just me or is Storm Along Bay not the best pool area? The Grill right next to the kids pool...and of course a Captin's Mai Tai! I have to admit, when we walk out back past the pool and you can see the whole Boardwalk on the other side of the lake, I get teary eyed every time. And every time it happens I always announce "We're finally home."
We never got a chance to do more than walk past it (usually quickly) this trip... I did want to stop back to our room one day to go swimming but Jack was not particularly interested. He's had a few swimming courses but is still pretty nervous about going in.

I love the videos from Star Wars Weekends... the best being, of course, the Dance-Off With the Star Wars Stars! I wonder how they plan to top it this year...

Photo shopping sprees! I love it!
We are spending all of Sunday over that Star Wars Weekend in DHS! I am so excited. :cool1: I hadn't even seen that MK was open that late some of the time! I think my teenagers will definitely be up for that.
SWW and late night MK - what more could anyone ask for?

Haha yes, another TRIP! Many more trips for many more pics!
I'm working on it! :teeth:

Great end to a great trip! Thanks so much for sharing your great pics :thumbsup2!
Thanks! Yipes, I still haven't updated this with pics from the K-x... which are finally online as of a week or so ago. :rolleyes1 Not getting much done quickly lately............ especially online.

OK, since they're up, I will finish this up once and for all! :)

I'll start with a few shots from PotC that I took with the K-x. These are all at 12,800 ISO with the 50mm F1.4 and minimal (honest!) denoising.

Now for some of her shots... she used the kit 18-55mm lens almost exclusively, except for a few times with the 31mm Limited near the end. I'm not even sure if any of the 31mm pics are in this thread, since I'm doing this on the quick right now. ;)

I intentionally darkened some of this one to emphasize the silhouette.

Note the hidden Mickey...

Leila was getting in the habit of making fish-face after every bite of food, which was pretty darn amusing.

There! The trip report is finally finished properly, once and for all... just in time, we go back in two weeks from tomorrow. :teeth:

Thanks for finishing! LOVE the fishface photo of adorable Leila!

I hope you have a great time at SWW. I hope you'll do a report when you get back!

I probably won't do a full trip report since it'll be such a short trip, but I'm sure I'll post some details over in the photo board... but who knows, if the trip goes particularly well, maybe I will give it a trip report. How's that for wishy-washy? :)
