Thinking of changing our reses from Dolphin to Grosvenor Resort & save $500.00.

How is Grosvenor Resort? Thanks!

I've posted this before, so if you've heard the story, my apologies... we booked the Grosvenor in Nov 2001 (after 9/11) for the fantastic rate of $39/night for a tower room. The room was quiet, clean, and comfortable. It doesn't have any true disney charm, but for the price, it allowed us a last-minute trip. If you are concerned about the $$ and aren't really interested in themeing, than I recommend it. Did not use the pool, but it looked fine. Transportation was a little slow compared to the on-site resorts but was also just fine. We walked to DTD for dinner which was very convenient. Hope this helps!!

I too have a question about the Grovesner. Is this an official Disney hotel? Can you use EE, or participate in E-ticket nights if you stay here?

I'm staying there through Priceline soon. Anyone know if there is adequate parking? I remember driving by and seeing cars parallel parked along the road. Is it difficult to find parking spaces in the hotel lot if you arrive back very late?

I stayed at the Grosvenor once back in 1992. It was OK, and it's convenient to Downtown Disney.

Your other choice, the Dolphin, is a short distance by walking path or boat to Epcot, Disney-MGM Studios, the BoardWalk, and the Yacht and Beach Club resorts. It's a nice hotel in a terrific location.
