I would love to surprise DF with a Seattle Seahawks Cake after our reception dinner. I know that there will be a cutting fee and I'm okay with that but how do I go about ordering one and does anyone know if Disney can even do that kind of cake? TIA!!!

Just tell your planner what you want. She will take care of everything for you. I gave her pictures of what I wanted and specific the cake flavor and fillings. Disney can do pretty much anything you want.

I've seen the Greenbay Packers cake that Disney does....was actually thinking of getting that myself.:rotfl:
Call your EM or her assistant and they can set up any surprises for your DF. I have quite a few surprises for mine and they are really good at setting everything up and keeping a secret!
:goodvibes

Thanks!! I'm so happy to hear that...I'm really excited and want to surprise him with something Seahawks (He's a HUGE fan!!). 4luvofthemouse...what kind of surprises are you planning??? (If you don't my asking) I'm so nosey!! :rotfl2:

well first the groom's cake , he's a chocoholic so I have this amazing cake for him.
I bought him a pair of diamond earrings for the wedding and I have ordered (from the Disney Floral) a presentation similar to the glass slipper one they have and they are being delivered to him the morning of the wedding.
I have also set up for him Richard Petty's driving school for him today 2 days before.
We have recently gone over our menu choices and he thinks we have everything picked out but I've gone and changed a few things to include alot of his favorite food. Even though we are having different food they are keeping our menu choices for the menu tasting...so he won't have a clue until the reception.
That's all that I have for now but I'm sure I'll end up with a few more.
He's always surprising me with things so it's his turn to get spoiled!

I was watching a "Whose wedding it is anyway" the other day on TV and this one couple had the most adorable groomsman cake. It was a cute little frog wearing a crown.

I'd totally consider doing that. Very fairy tale.

EDIT: Wanted to add a picture I found of a similar frog prince cake...not the same one that was on the TV show. This one isn't as cute.

AWWW...You are sooo sweet! Your DF is going to be so surprised! It's so great you can pull off stuff like that...I can barely keep a secret to save my life! :lmao: I'm hoping I can pull this Groom's Cake off...

That's a really cute idea! It's amazing how imaginative some of those cakes are! :thumbsup2

Thanks for the idea. DF is a Calgary Flames fan and we are having grooms cake because he only likes cheesecake so maybe Disney can do something with the Calgary Flames.

I know that there will be a cutting fee and I'm okay with that...

Luv4mylittleones, since you mentioned a "cutting fee," that normally applies to an outside cake that has been brought in. There is an extremely knowledgeable Cast Member who sometimes posts on this board. A year or two ago this Cast Member posted that Disney does not allow outside cakes to be served at an event (for food safety reasons, etc.). If you want to have a Grooms Cake served, and if the "no non-Disney cakes" rule still stands, you'll have to order your cake through the Fairy Tale Weddings folks. But the Disney bakers do such a lovely job with their cakes, I'm sure they’ll be able to come up with just the right one for your groom.

By the way, here are a few links to some pretty nifty Grooms Cakes:

Arkansas Fan
Texas Fan
Fishing Fan
Boating Fan
Coors Light Fan
Golfing Fan
Golfing Fan
Motorcycle Fan
Superman Fan
Motown Fan
Playstation Fan
Oklahoma Highway Patrol
BBQ Fan
Baseball Fan
Crab Cake

I’m not sure if Disney can duplicate any of those, but it never hurts to ask. ;)

I have 2 grooms cakes that I am considering.
The first one is a frog

and the second one is my husband and I's favorite Disney character.
