Grocery store

Does anyone know if there is a grocery store near SSR? We're driving there so we'll have our car and can easily hit a grocery store to stock-up once we get there. TIA!

There is a Goodings down the street from SSR/DTD. Not always the best of everything for selection but definitely handy. Depending on your route into the WDW area, we have passed other grocery stores and had our town car stop there for us.

Others here on the boards might know what those stores are but Goodings has always done the trick for us.

and a few 'yards' down the road is a Winn Dixie - who offers alot better pricing than Goodings.

We also go to the super Walmart. If you leave property going through the DTD area hotels, take a right and keep straight you will run right into it about 2-3 miles down.

The Win Dixie is the place to go. Head toward Goodings and turn left. Trvel 1/2 mile and your there. Save $4 on a case of water.

The back exit to the Super Walmart is pretty easy if you don't go at peak times. The traffic can be crazy, but the prices at the Super Walmart are great. Just turn right at the main road (528 I think), and it is not to far.

I just wanted to add that I signed up for this card online and received it in the mail within about a week. I thought that was very fast and it does save quite a bit of extra cash.

Go late at night to avoid the insane traffic. We hate leaving disney property while on vacation because of the traffic "out there".
