grocery store stop

We are coming in from Tampa, which is the closest place to stop and purchase some groceries before arriving at WDW. We normally fly into Orlando and stop at Walmart or Publix but coming from the other side not sure what is there and which exit would be best

There is a Publix on 192 very close to AKL, with a Super Target right across the street. Sherberth Rd is a great shortcut to get there.

We go shopping here even when we stay at BLT or SSR.

Don't go all the way to 192 on Sherberth. Turn right at Black Lake road (1 block before 192). At next light turn right. Publix is on the right and Super Target is on the left at the next light. Come back the same way. Can save time if traffic on 192 is heavy

Sorry OP, I may have accidentaly hijacked your post. But I wanted to say thank you to those who gave the great directions to the store near AK. Ironically, I realized I will actually be going to AK via SSR bc I need to get a replacement DVC card! Ugh.

Back to the original post, OP is staying at SSR if anyone can give directios to a grocery store near there?

Since you are coming from Tampa, that Publix would still be fine.

I4 to 429 looks like the best way.
