Grocery store near DL hotels?

Is there any type of grocery store near the close to DL hotels? (Park Vue or Desert Inn). I'm considering taking the Super Shuttle from SNA and then renting a car later, after our DL days. I would want to buy cases of water, snacks, fruit, etc. Obviously, we couldn't carry a case of water too far! Thanks

Your best bet might be 7/11 on the corner of Katella/Harbor (maybe a 7 min walk.)

You can also order grocery delivery from vons.com to be delivered to your hotel. I've done that before, and it's really easy and convenient. You can get free delivery with your first order!

I'm not that familiar with American grocery prices but since Von's is not Disneyland area specific, I don't think the prices are inflated. We have used them twice and besides some delivery issues both times, I have been happy with the value for what we were charged. Things like a flat of water for $5.50 seems pretty good to me.

Vons, is Safeway in disguise .. you can use your Safeway card there. and still get your points.. yeah. !

We bring canned goods from home.. snacks etc and then go to Vons for fresh produce...

For approx. just over $ 100. we get milk ,bread butter, salad stuffs, cheese and sandwich meats.. something sweet, couple of six packs of drinks. chips etc.. for 5 people..

There is a Target up the road on Habour Blvd , and the Vons is approx. three minutes away from Target..

Approx 5 minutes down the road on Katella is a huge grocery store, good value..
All three of these stores you can get too via the local bus service.. but if you have a car , then its even easier...
