grocery store close to Disney

We will be picking up a rental from Dollar at the Grosevenor downtown Disney. Is there anywhere close by we can pick up some basic grocery items like water, snacks or whatever that would resemble grocery store prices?

So can anyone recommend a place anywhere near downtown Disney if not in downtown Disney, maybe within a 5-10 minute drive?

There is a Goodings grocery store at the Crossroads plaza near downtown disney. It is a hike, I would recommend taking a cab. I walked it with my kids last time we were down and we took a cab back to dtd. Cost about $6 I think. Can't remember exactly. Goodings is a rather upscale (read expensive) grocery store, but not as expensive as buying food on resort. People on the boards have posted that there is a publix about a mile down the road from Goodings. If you have a car then that could be your option. I don't mind the prices at Goodings. We usually buy a bunch of breakfast stuff and drinks, and snacks. On vacation, I take the path of least resistance. Good luck.

if you get onto 192 east to kissemme .there is a publix,,w target super center,,walmart super center,,its about 10 to 15 minits dr,i its a nice road,,and lots of other stores along the way..or you caan got the walmart super center,on o.b.t.(orange blossom trail.)its alot longer drice,,but its a nice drive..take the 102 stores its closser..cannt get lost..just ask fornt desk for mep actually maps are everywhere there..there is a publix just past the rime desing out let mall,,you cannt miss that place you see it off i,4 its just around the bend from it and there is a liquor store and wallgreens store to thatsw the closet to downt town disney..cross roads mall is alot of $$$$$just turn right at cross roads ,go under i.4 and turn left at golden corral .its a nice area..publix is just around the bend from the mall.4 minit drive

Do not use GOODINGS they are a tourist grocery store and thus way way more expensive than going to just about any other place. You may also want to bring your own beer from home in Dec I picked up a 6 pack and it was 10 bucks US. We go to Winn Dixie it is down from goodings when you get to the lights at the end of hotel plaza blvd turn left and about 5 minutes or less down the road the Winn Dxie is on teh left. It is a huge place and the prices are cheaper than Publix

Goodings is way too expensive. I suggest Winn Dixie which is much more affordable and a great selection. We always buy our groceries there.

There is a Super Walmart on SR535 ~ turn right out of Hotel Plaza Blvd. and follow under the I4 ~ drive for about 5 minutes and it is on your right hand side just past the Buena Vista Outlet Mall. Groceries are good prices but the Disney souvenirs are awesome ~ at a fraction of the cost!
