Grocery shopping?

We've rented a suite with a kitchen to cut costs with eating out. But where should we go for groceries? Our travel agent said fruit is very expensive to buy at 7-11 and that it is far to a grocery store. We didn't really want to rent a car, but we could for a day I guess. What are those transportion service shuttles to the malls like? Maybe a cab?

Where are you staying?

I have a strange craving for diet cherry coke so I raid every grocery store around DLR to drive cases back to my home in Northern CA. I can pinpont a number of grocery stores for ya!

We are staying at the HoJo Anaheim at 1380 Harbor. I would appreciate some info also.

From HoJos go north on Harbor (right turn from HoJos ?) and right on Lincoln. (not too far down Lincoln)

I have to say that most grocery stores are not readily visable around DLR.

Disneychrista, please do. The more people buy, the more they order. It is getting harder to find. They sem to only want to sell the diet vanilla coke swill in Northern CA.

You can bet I will, maybe we should start requesting and rerequesting Diet Cherry Coke here (I too live in Northern California) But I do like Diet Vanilla Coke too.

I will have to make a point to go to some grocery's while i am there, in 8 days.

We're staying at the Homewood Suites by Hilton - down past the convention center I think. Any grocery stores close to there?

I think if you follow the same instructions...north on Harbor (a major amaheim street) and make a right on Lincoln, you will be ok. I think it is a Vons , but I may be wrong.
