My wife and I recently stayed at the VWL; they're great! There is a small store, the "Mercantile" that offers a limited supply of groceries: bread, eggs, juice, a few frozen items, milk, cereal, beer, wine, etc.

We used Tiffany Town Car from the airport to the Lodge; a terrific benefit of this service was the fact that they stopped at a Publix outside the "World" to do some grocery shopping. Well worth it!

Enjoy your trip and "welcome home"! :D

You'll love it there. We bought in Dec. Last week I was at WDW at the Poly with a friend and I drug her over ot the Villas to see what they were all about. Anyway, if you get on the DVC members site, you can download a list of groceries and prices available at the Lodge store. For an extra $5 they will deliver them to your room. Of course, the less expensive alternative would be to go to the store and get them yourself. I intend to use the Tiffany Towncar service when we go.

I looked at the price of the food on the order form and was surprised at the prices compared to supermarket. I think a 6 pack of soda was $5.89. I can buy a case for that at home.

It is a lot cheaper to stop at a regular supermarket, even the expensive Goodings at the four corners

when this limo service stops at the market is there an extra charge ? how much is this service and how do you contact them ?what about tipping ? :) :D ;)

Pinman,

Tiffany is great.
If you want to do the grocery stop, just tell the reservations guy and the driver. I use Publix.
Their site is http://www.tiffanytowncar.com/
I am not sure about tipping. The husband does that.

Hi,
We took our first trip to our BWV 2 weeks ago and used TIffany. They were great! You have your own car, don't have to wait for a bus with a billion other people. They help you with your bags too. Just ask them to stop at the supermarket and go shopping. They will wait for you. It's so convienient.
