Grocery Question

We'll be driving from Vero Beach to BCV next week. Before we get to BCV, we need to drop off our rental car as we won't be taking it with us to BCV. I was planning on doing a grocery stop though, but I am unsure of how to do this now.

If we go to the grocery store before dropping off the rental car, we'll be stuck with all of these groceries that we need to get onto the shuttle bus from the rental car and/or the taxi to go to BCV. What would you do? Just have groceries delivered from the DVC grocery list or somewhere else? I thought of dropping off the groceries at BCV first before we return the rental car, but the odds are slim that our room will be ready then (around noon).

Go to the grocery first, then to BCV. You can check your luggage and all your groceries, including refrigerated or frozen items. Just be sure to have them all separated into different bags so the bellhop will know which ones go in the fridge and which in the freezer and which with the regular luggage.

You can also check in, although you may not be told your room number yet (unless the room is ready). Then go drop off the rental car and return to WDW. If your room won't be ready for several hours, you can have the shuttle/taxi drop you at one of the parks, then use WDW transport to get to BCV when it's time. You'll be given a phone number you can call to find out your room number after a certain time.
