Hi ALL!
Going to Disney with my family in November, First trip HOME :cool1:
I want to do a grocery order because I have 2 small children and feel that this is the easiest thing to do. The garden grocer doesn't appear to have alcohol?
Does anyone know how to get like a 12 pack of beer or something to keep in the fridge for the week for when we are stuck in the room at night and the kids are asleep? Disney prices for beer and wine are outrageous.
Any helpful info would be great.

Hi,
I called wegoshop and gardengrocer yesterday. I left a message with both asking if they would deliver beer and wine with the grocery order. (We have 6 adults visiting the Food & Wine in October.) Marge from wegoshop called about an hour ago and left a message. She will deliver beer & wine for no additional charge. She said that if you want hard liquor, there is an additional $5 fee since she has to go to another store. I'll post when I hear from gardengrocer.

We used wegoshop (and loved it) last year. Beer was delivered with our order.

I've seen several posts that garden grocer will deliver beer also if you just add it in the misc section.

I have ordered beer from Wegoshop with no problem in the past. We are using wegoshop this November for our order. I called Marge the other day to ask when I had to get my order in for my November trip and she stated to go head get my name in so that she holds a day for delivery since she is filling up fast during the Holiday season. She stated that Thanksgiving thru New Years she has people already scheduled.

We ordered from Gardengrocer in June, and were able to phone them and add a bottle of wine to the order. I told him I wanted a berry "girlie" wine (don't tell dh I said that), and they actually brought two for us to choose from. I thought that was very good service!

We just used Garden Grocer for our late July stay. They were absolutely fantastic! We had 4 items not on their list so they will get anything you need. I cannot say enough about these folks....they were great. I even tipped them an extra $20 because they saved us the nightmare of grocery shopping...LOL

Esmerelda :)

I still haven't heard back from garden grocer (2 days now). I did see on another thread that it's difficult to get them to return calls. So, I was hesitant on using them. But you guys are swaying me back. I guess both services are very good. Hmmm, what to do!

We just used them last week and thought they were great. The guy delivered right when he said he would and said he was very busy. We asked for beer and other items not inlcuded on website to be delivered. Not only did they deliver but they did in coolers so our beer was cold. I wouldn't hestitate at all to use them again. If you select #1 on the voice mail it will be directed right to a person rather than have to leave a message. I wish I thought of the wine thing too. You can buy bottles at SSR for about $12-15 per bottle so that wasn't too bad.

We've used Wegoshop twice now, and each time Marge has brought the bear according to my proper specifications.. :drinking1
