Grocery delivery?

I'm not sure this is the right forum for this, so I apologize if not.

Has anyone used the grocery delivery service? I read about it in the Unofficial Guide (which is upstairs where the kids are all still asleep this morning so I don't want to risk waking them to get it and look up the name of the place!) and it seems like a good service for not a lot of extra money.

We will be arriving in Orlando around 9:30am and heading to DTD for lunch at T-Rex and then to our off-site rental house around 1pm. DH was planning to head out for the groceries and I was going to unpack and get the kids down for a nap, but it sure would be nice if he could just stay there with us!

I used Garden Grocer in 2007 when we were at Riverside. No problems with it. Just went to the website, placed our order and it arrived exactly when I scheduled it.

Hi! My family just returned from Disney World on Monday. We used Garden Grocer. I shopped online, they let you pick the day and time you want delivery and then deliver your groceries to your hotel. It was a breeze and I would highly recommend that you look into their services! There is a delivery charge, but worth it if you ask me to have everything delivered and not have to make a trip to the store. No problems what so ever, they delivered everything I ordered, even called and left a voice mail while we were still flying letting us know that they made the delivery at bell services at our hotel and left a phone number for us to call if there were any problems.

We used Garden Grocer for our upcoming trip this month, but that is because we are going to be onsite without a vehicle of our own and we are doing the meal plan so we only needed to order a few breakfast items, milk, bottled water, etc. I have heard a lot of great things about Garden Grocer and their delivery fee is reasonable, but the prices they charge are higher than what you would pay in the store (e.g., $8 for a case of water, $6.50 for a box of 24 Eggo Waffles,$3.29 for 1/2 gallon 2% milk, etc.). Since you said your husband was going to go out for groceries, I am assuming you will have your own vehicle. I would go to the Garden Grocer website and price out what you think you would order and see if it would be worth it to use that service or if you would be better off just making the trip to the grocery store.
