We are staying in All Star Sports Resort, and was wondering if anyone had groceries delivered there. We called and they said we needed to use goodings. Is this true. They seem to be priced high, and there selection on there web site is not that great.
Has anyone used netgrocer
I used Gooding's and loved it. More on that later.
I can't imagine that Gooding's is the only place that can deliver to ASSp, since other WDW resorts have no such restrictions. Maybe when the CM said you "need" to use Gooding's, that was just an absent-minded figure of speech.
About Gooding's website. Gooding's is an actual supermarket, not a stand-alone delivery service. Gooding's will deliver to you anything they stock on their shelves. I ordered about $100 worth of groceries, and about half or more of my order was comprised of items NOT on the pretty limited lists on their website. Just e-mail or call them with your specific requests and they'll tell you whether or not they carry what you want. My two pre-schoolers are very brand-loyal to a lot of products, and I was able to get exactly what I wanted even though, as I said, much of it was not listed on the website.
By the way, Gooding's cannot deliver alcohol. From what I read, Wegoshop and Gardengrocer CAN deliver alcohol.
Netgrocer is an internet delivery service. They SHIP your boxed groceries to you. SInce it's shipped, rather than delivered from a local store, they offer and ship ONLY non-perishables. SO in other words, no dairy products, no produce, etc.
