Grocery Delivery At BWPPI & Luggage Storage

Now that we've decided not to rent cars at the airport I need to make other arrangements.

Has anyone had groceries delivered to BWPPI? If so, what was your experience?

Also...has anyone needed to store their luggage there until their room was ready?

You can have your luggage stored there until your room is ready with no problem. Not sure about grocery delivery though but there is a little convenience store next door at the Tropicana. What kinds of grocery items were you wanting delivered?

Cases of pop and water, lunch meats, bread, paper plates, mayo, chips...etc.

We plan on eating most of our lunches in our hotel room because we don't particularly care for the food in the parks.

It's very easy to catch a cab and have it wait for you at any local store. It cost 25.00 for us to catch cab from the resort, to Target, have it wait while we picked up a few things (moving very fast) and back to hotel. I'm sure it would've been cheaper to not have it wait but we didn't want to waste time waiting for a new cab. It's about a mile away from the BWPPI. There are plenty of markets close by to get the items you're looking for as well. With all the airline restrictions we opted to go to Target and I called ahead to see what kind of groceries they have. All your items can be found there. Hope this helps.

I had groceries delivered when I stayed at the Carousell Inn (close to BWPPI). I used Albertsons.com and it worked out great! There is a $9.95 delivery fee, but it is worth it considering what a taxi would cost. You order what you want online and they will deliver it to you at your hotel within a 2 hour time frame that you pre-select. We saved a ton of money this way and we plan to do this every time we visit DLR.
