We are staying at POFQ for our first 3 nights and OKW for our last 5 in about two weeks. I keep going back and forth between sending a package ahead and getting groceries delivered. Obviously, if I get them delivered I can get a case of water and also have fruit delivered. However, I'm worried about scheduling a time for delivery and HAVING to be there at that time to pick up the order. How much of a time window do they give you for delivery that we would have to wait around?

Also, I am wondering about having the items transferred to OKW after we check out of POFQ if we don't have room in our bags. Would we be better off witing until OKW to get a delivery since we have the dining plan while at POFQ??

I know that OKW is very large, and I'm worried about being able to get our delivery to our room at OKW if we have to take a bus to our room from the main building where you check in, since I am assuming that's where the groceries would be delivered to.

I am having a horrible time with this decision.:sad2: I would appreciate any input!!!:)

Thanks!!

We used www.gardengrocer.com, and we did not have to be in the room to accept the delivery. We paid with a CC, scheduled delivery for just before we expected to arrive, and had everything waiting for us when we got there (things that needed refrigeration were in cooler bags, and POFQ put them in their fridge). We called the bell desk, and they brought everything to our room. Worked like a charm. If you want to be in the room when the delivery occurs, I believe the windows were 2 hour blocks (2-4, 4-6, etc.).

If I were you, I'd go ahead and have everything delivered the first day. I'm sure you won't have a problem with bell services moving everything for the second half of your stay. I've done grocery runs while staying at hotels many times, and the bell persons have always been happy to take my cases of soda/water even though I feel like a dork for asking. Of course, we always make sure to tip them appropriately.
