Just wanted to share the impact our coupon train and my extra papers are having on our budget. As I just mentioned, I will be traveling again shortly so I have been really slamming the cupboards full. Last night my bill was $388 and I paid $182. Today it was $132 and I paid $60. This is the kind of savings I can really live with and this is what I do every week with utilizing the budget site I go to (weusecoupons.com) and matching the sales with the coupons out there. It is unreal! Today one of the things I got was Starbucks ice cream for $.19! Who gets that for that price! lol Its just awesome and I hope you all are doing as well as I am.

I posted yesterday that i was going to the post office but I didn't make it there until this morning. They have quite a few that expire the end of June. This week it is one I could have split into two but I didn't do that.
I hope you can use a few.

I sent 2 envies out to you on Thursday & they came back to me because of postage. We have a postage machine at work so I weighed them but when I went back to the PO they explained that because of the size of the envies there is more postage!! So they went back out yesterday. Sorry!!

Wow Karen that is great!! I do not save that much but I usually save about $10.00 a week on groceries & also save about $15-25 at Walmart when I stock up on things. I will have to check out that web site.

You might want to get a First-Class Mail Shape-Based Pricing Template next time you go to the post office. The increase before last (.42) they changed the pricing to include thickness of the envelope.

Maximum size for letters:
11-1/2" long x 6-1/8" hight x 1/4" thick

It is very easy to go over the 1/4" thick and that is where they get us now for sending the nice fat envies. If you go over 2.0 it REALLY goes up, I think to PACKAGE price. I THINK it is cheaper to send two envies if it goes to package price. Everytime I ask about this at the post office I get even more confused.

Anyone else have any input or suggestions?

I have noticed if my coupons are send out in a 5x7 manilla envelope the postage is twice as much. I have been sending them out in a long business envelope for much less.
