Grocery Coupon Train

This summer DH and I are going back to MD for the 4th of July week, going to NJ in August, and hopefully Disney in Sept. With small trips in between.

Have I told you guys DH and I have wheels on our butts!

I wanted to let you all know also, that I will probably put the wishlist back up at some time. I think I have said, (at least I hope I was saying), that I wanted the extra envies to stop for now. The time of year is also playing a big role in my decision to do this right now. I know that many of us get extra busy during the summer months, especially those of us with kids. Vacations start, camping trips, summer sports...it can be a hectic 3 months. So I really want us to focus on 1 person (assigned buddy) right now, if that is ok. When things start to go back to normal in Sept. as kids head back to school, I'm not opposed to putting the wish list back up (if I see things turn around a bit). I think many of us could use the wishlist during the school months.

I also wanted to tell you all, and I just mentioned this to someone in a Pm. Sometimes I hate email/messages. It can be hard to interpret how the message comes across as opposed to speaking, it's much easier to perceive when the message is verbal, imo, one can't hear tone/connotation in typed verbage. Short of getting everyones cell phone number and calling you all directly, I'm left with the PM's. Please know I never meant to ruffle feathers, I'm sorry if I have done so, but I felt like the train was spiraling down and I didn't want that to happen, I'm just trying to keep us on track and charging ahead. I enjoy this very much, and I enjoy each and every one of you. I'm sorry if some of the rules have not been made clear (such as requirements of posting). If you are uncertain about anything, please just ask at anytime.

With that...and to switch gears...or tracks.....What are your summer plans?

Corinna, I just want to say that no matter what happens with this train that everyone has a lot of respect for you and the way you run this train. Do we agree all the time? Not always but we respect your decisions and I think that is what makes this such a well run coupon train.

I really appreciate you taking the time to keep us all on track and letting us know where the wishlist stands. I do have to ask if we may continue to send a birthday envie with a few coupons if we choose? I would hate for the summer birthdays to miss out on the fun envies.

OF COURSE, this is AFTER we put our coupon buddy first. I specifically buy an extra paper (or two if it is a good week) to send out birthday envies. If I'm not sending birthday envies then I don't purchase extras. SO my buddy is NOT missing out on coupons.

My Summer plans......I will be in Newport Beach in two weeks.

Sorry I haven't posted yet this week. We have had a VERY busy week at our house. I'll start with the good news: My neice was born on Wednesday after much concern over mom and baby the DRs induced and everyone is healthy.
On the flip side DH was laid off this week without warning just pack and go. So he has first dibs on the computer for obvious reasons

gardengalB4 I want to thank you for all envies this week got 1 mon wed and thursday! oh and I loved the target $5 off $50 i used it today got $67 worth of stuff for $22. oh potty training is not doing anything so I will be using those Q this coming up week at kmart (double coupons!)

Dede please forgive me I have yet to send out your envie so you will be getting 2 BIG ones next week. I haven't even sent out my Dad and brothers b-day cards out! Been soo busy! I hope you do not mind the duplicates I tend to get 2-3 papers on sundays plus the train coupons and from my brother plus if I happen to see any on top of the recycle bin when i take my paper I grab those too!
