Grocery Coupon Train

Nena, welcome back. Being without a computer isn't fun. I can still remember the days I had to share mine with my girls. I don't think I was ever on back then. Girls sure can talk/type alot.

I sent out a packet to nena, willis and along4theride. I hope you all find something that you can use.

Me too! I love Brownies & Girl Scouts, and I'm having just as much fun with my boys in Cub Scouts!!!!

Corina how wonderful about the Pinewood Derby! My DS is painting his car now. He is a Wolf. Last year he came in last on every heat - so we are working hard on the car this year, hoping to get at least one heast win.

Good luck to your son, you will have to let us know how he does. I never realized this was such a big deal. The district race for us is March 28. We were supposed to leave for DL on March 25, we have had to push our trip back by 4 days and shorten it so he can race his car!!

I just got some bad news this afternoon. As some of you know I am headed back to TN in a few weeks and a friend called today to tell me we no longer get the Knoxville paper in our area. When I left TN this was the only paper that had coupon inserts.

If this is true for the entire area there will be no more coupons for me. It kind of feels like I am losing a friend. Well I will in a way because I will not be a part of this train.

That stinks!!!

We will be there the same time as you are, our dates are the 23rd through the 30th, we are leaving our house on the 22nd as soon as my daughter gets off of the bus on the last day of school.

Your daughters last day of school is May 22?!?!?!?!?!? Wow!!!! My boys don't get out until June 17!!!!!! I wish we started earlier and got out earlier. The middle of June seems so late to me. I hope you have fun on your trip.

This is not good at all. What about coupons online, or blinkies? I have heard that people buy coupons off ebay. You cant leave this train!!

My friend is working on a deal to have a lady in Florida send us whole inserts. If this works out the cost will be about the same as buying multiple papers.

And of course I will buy large quantities from Ebay. Just purchased 40 O'Lay coupons from there.

Leeanne you lucked out. Two envelopes came today from a previous sender that had gotten behind a couple of weeks. So now I have nice big envelope for you. I will drop it off at PO this afternoon when I pick up kids from school.

We are blessed to get out so early, but on the other hand we start school at the very beginning of August. I guess it equals itself out. the middle of June does seem very late. This will be a great last day of school this year, as soon as the bus pulls up, we head out. We are driving about 5 hours and getting a room and then driving the rest of the way in on Saturday.

Actually we are staying offsite in a 6 bedroom 4 bath house in Windsor Hills. We have other family ( my step mom and sister) joining us so we decided that we really needed plenty of space, and a private pool doesn't hurt. I hope that we aren't missing too much by staying offsite, but we will have two vans to get us back and forth and I think that the extra room will be very benificial to us.

Wow really?!?! Where are you in Tennessee? We live in Sevierville and they are still delivering the Knoxville News Sentinel here. I loved when the Books a million here carried the Atlanta Sunday paper also cause they had great coupons but they quit last year when gas spiked

We live east of you in a little town, Church Hill, in the Tri- Cities area. The Kingsport papers stopped coupons long ago. I guess with the slow economy it is not worth it for Knoxville to drop papers off in our small town.
