Hello everyone...I dont know where my mind is lately, becausen I cant keep up with everything I am doing. Not to mention my mom is in the hospital, she had surgery on her liver on friday. I am hoping she starts to feel better and that she can come home soon. So i havent had time to post lately, but I did manage to send out an envie for aschlau on saturday. Hopefully I can get some wishlist envies out on Tuesday.

*A very special request*

A horrible crime was committed in the city where I work. A 20 month old child was systematically beaten to death by her Mom (18 and 6 mths preg)and the Mom's 15 year old boyfriend. The details are just too much to share but if you really, really feel the need go to syracuse.com and you will see it.

I am asking you, all of you......reach out to those you love, embrace those who annoy or anger you, reconcile, find a way, reach out to the communities you live in in whatever way you are able...small things to you mean immeasurable blessings to others. Let's do what little we can to be a *stop* to cycles of violence, hatred, abuse, etc.

And please, pray for the children out there. They ask not to be conceived or born, and definitely deserve better than what is given to many of them in life. If your heart has the room, reach out as a Big Brother/Big Sister, Foster Parent, or just a gift from a tree this year....something. The problem is bigger than all of us but small, meaningful actions...they do matter.

Hello everyone!

I am so sorry that I have been MIA for 2 weeks. My Father in law passed away on the 7th and we had out Disney trip the 15th - 22nd. The funeral was on on Monday the 10th so I wasn't thinking about sending my envie. We are back and trying to get caught up with everything that we have just let go for the last 2 weeks.

Thank you for your understanding, Dusti1960, you will have a big envie from me this week.

Mskayjay~I read the story about baby Imani, it is so sad. When I hear stories like this, it breaks my heart because I see my boys that are playing a video game in our warm house, they always have more than enough to eat, and they all get tucked into their own beds at night...to think that there are children out there that do not get these "luxuries" something that should not be considered so, but a neccesity of life, and then to hear those like Imani that have suffered from much more depravation, it is unimaginable to me.
Hopefully, with this story coming to a forefront in your community, it will be an eye opener for other moms that are struggling, and dads, and maybe it will prevent other children from being harmed. Thanks for sharing and bringing this to our attention as I think we all need to be reminded that these things do happen in our society.
