my husband an I are going in June by ourselves. Staying in a 1 bedroom OKW. In the past when our entire extended family us with us, we would take a $20 taxi ride to go to the grocery store to stock up. It was cheaper than using a grocery delivery service.
With just the two of us, would it be cheaper to just order from Garden Grocers? I hate to burn vacation time in a taxi and store, but will if the savings us significant.
Thoughts?

Garden Grocer has a $40 minimum order, a $14 delivery charge up to $200 orders, and shops at one specific unidentified store.
We Go Shop has no minimum order, a $19 delivery charge up to $50 orders, and will shop at the one store of your choice.
Both delivery charges are lower than your (one way?) cab fare, so no, shopping yourselves doesn't result in a significant savings.

We would always do a big shopping trip on our arrival day when we went as the whole extended family (we had a rental car so no cab fare). When we go on our own we order through Garden Grocer and find the time it saves us to be a huge bonus. On our next extended family trip we will just be doing one large GG order. I have the order for DH, DS, and I saved, and then I'll add the items that DMIL/DFIL and DSIL and her family want. Since we usually shopped at Goodings the prices for the GG items really don't seem out of line.

I order cases of water from Staples and get free delivery with my teacher rewards card.

How much are you buying with two people?

When we just want a few things, we pack the staples, then go to the resort store to get the perishables. Yes, the pricing is high - but it takes very little time and it isn't so high that when we get milk, eggs and a loaf of bread it makes the $15 delivery charge worth it. Cereal, salt and pepper, sugar, peanut butter, coffee - that we pack. But we eat out for most meals except breakfast - so we are really just looking for breakfast and a snack. And we get to check luggage for free on Delta with the AmEx and my husband's status (we get something like six bags for the two of us), so there isn't a checked bag fee.

Check out the new service called Dizzy Dolphen. I haven't used them yet, but have communicated with them and will be using them for our Thanksgiving trip. The owners are 3 DVC owners and have gotten good reviews so far.

Wow, wish I had known about Dizzy Dolphen I would have tried them. I just booked WEGO shop again. We have used them numerous times and have had excellent service.

When we were a family of four, we would always stop at Public for groceries. Now that there's just the two of us, we also pack food and buy a few perishables from the resort store for breakfast items. We bring Brita water bottles with filters on them. We eat out for dinner. We're DVC, so we will always have at least a microwave and a toaster at our disposal. I've read somewhere about shipping non-perishables to your hotel using Amazon, but I've never done it.
