Hi- I asked this on the resorts board but so far, no answers. We check into WL around noon on 1/13. If I put in a grocery delivery order (with Kroger) to be delivered on the evening of 1/12, will bell services hold it for us, even though we won't have checked in yet?

It has been a couple of years since I have done it but in the past, bell services will accept and hold your groceries (they have a fridge at bell services. but there is a resort charge (or at least there was) and it was something like $5 a bag.

Put you reservation order on your Kroger order in the address line.

I am notoriously cheap so for the past few orders, I have met the Amazon grocery delivery out front to avoid the fee.

Haha, me too, but I have a $25 off coupon for the first two deliveries... and if I have the stuff delivered in the evening instead of morning or mid-day, delivery is $3 instead of $10!

Please do share how it works, I had a weird experience. Supposedly they accept deliveries, when I was staying at PORR I realized I forgot a mascara so I ordered from Amazon. I had to chase it down at the resort and then when I did get it the person who brought it out to me at the desk was a bit dramatic and haughty almost scolding about the fees. It was odd to me, it's my money so if I'm ok with paying fees MYB🤷‍♀️

Front service will hold your belongings, whether groceries, mail or package delivery for up-to one week before arrival. On a recent trip I ordered pantry goods from WF via Amazon two days in advance of our arrival. System worked fine. Just be aware that if you want your goods delivered to your room it’ll cost $6.00 per bag. I don’t know if the one week policy holds for refrigerated items since I ordered none.

Have fun!

I think you're only charged a fee if you get the items delivered to your room. If you pick them up at bell service, no charge....except tip.

Though when we did it last year, the person at the desk said he couldn't accept our tip so I suppose it depends on who ends up getting your stuff.

Every package we had delivered to AKL or Vero this trip, incurred the $6 fee automatically. And I pick things up at bell services. It was automatically charged.

Just FYI, we had a trip in June to BLT. Mom, Sis & Family went shopping on Saturday (check in Sunday), then drove to BLT to have them hold the groceries until check in. They wouldn't accept them. So they took the groceries home, and because of the luggage had to hire a driver the next day just to get the groceries to the resort.

Update...
I had no issues with grocery delivery via Kroger to either WL in January or AllStarMovies in May. We went to bell services at the end of the delivery period with a cart and they loaded the grocery bags onto the cart for us. Took them to the room, returned the cart. DD will use them in August at AKL, and I'll do this again at CSR in November. Yes, we go to Disney TOO OFTEN!

Interesting. We weren't charged a fee for our grocery delivery at BRV this January. They also dropped of an amazon item I ordered directly into our room (we didn't ask them to do this.) No fee for that either. It was just in there when we came back on break.

Same here for our last trip to the YC. Our Amazon packages would be waiting in our room for us with no fee. No fee for the groceries either.
