Hey everybody, DW are planning a May trip next year and were wondering about what are the favorite local groceries. We'll be renting a car so stopping off between the airport and home won't be a problem. Also, do the local groceries generally carry disposable coolers and ice, we're probably going to be early and like to check in, even if our room isn't ready. Thanks in advance for your help.

Goodyings is open 24/7 so you could go after you are done with the parks, etc for the day. I know this doesn't answer your question but I thought it might help.

Just for your information, Bell Services can refrigerate any of your grocery purchases so if you are getting a cooler just to keep the food cold until your room is ready, it is not necessary. I woiuld just separate any food requiring refirigeration and make sure you let the staff know what requires refrigeration/freezer.

We find Goodings to be more expensive than other grocery stores in the area, so we usually go to Publix.

Absolutely!!! :cool1:

Publix is right down the street maybe 2-3 more lights!! :cheer2:

When we were at OKW last summer, there were ice machines near the bus stops and we were able to fill the cooler using them. If you are flying we have checked coolers before, or you can buy one of those collapsable coolers that fits in a suitcase.
