Groceries at Poly

Does anyone know if the Poly has a place to groceries, and if so, what type of items are available?

Not really. Since there is no DVC there so the groceries are very limited. You can get medicines, chips, other snacks, sodas and the like. If you want a few things like bread and packaged luncheon meats then you could always hop over to the Wilderness Lodge. Their gift shop has more things in it like that plus Ben & Jerry's, peanut butter and jelly, soups, and such. The resorts that have DVC with them generally have more supplies then the regular resorts. If you need more then that then I suggest a grocery delivery service if you don't have a car.

Ft Wilderness has a couple stores with groceries/supplies too.

The upstairs "store" next to the gift shop has liquor, pop, some milk, candy, donuts, and few items that you might of forgotten. But very high over pricing. Better to stop on way to wdw if there is a way.

That was the one I was referring to. Very highy priced. I had forgotten deoderant of all things! Tons of trips never forgetting anything and I now forget that! Anyway I went up to that store and they had one kind for men and one for women. They were like trial sizes. I paid almost $5 for it! it lasted 3 days so since I was staying for 1o days it ended up costing me over $15 for deoderant! LOL! Never again will I forget that!

Thanks for the info. We last stayed at the POP, and found that they had a good choice of groceries at a fairly reasonable price. I was wishing for the same at Poly since we probably won't rent a car this time. I also will bring along some food with me. Thanks again!

If your arranging a car service (limo, town car) look for one with a "grocery stop" many do this without an extra charge! And well worth the 1/2 hour stop on the way over!
