Did EE this morning. 90 minutes, regular line. EFG appeared to broken for long fits, then the queue began to move steadily. DA was packed with EE folks, on a side note.

Daaaang. So you went right at opening at it was a 90 minute wait? With others saying it was a 30-45 minutes during the middle of the day that makes me think not only is there no point in going to EE, but it's counter-productive.

It has calmed down since the summer. I went at the end of September and the longest wait was 1 Hour. It really depends on when you are going. There are times when Early Entry is important. I went earlish on other days and was able to get on quickly.

I think the summer and busy times are when it's important that you get up early and get there.

I was lucky and there was only one day the ride misbehaved.

If the ride breaks down, it will be a long line. If the ride is running smoothly, the line is much shorter. Problem is, it is impossible to predict.

Just checked an app for Gringotts wait time and it's showing 100 minutes. Being that it's a random Tuesday at 11am in late October, I would assume this means the ride was broken down at some point this morning? Doesn't seem to be the standard wait based on reports here of 30-45 mins....

I don't think we will do the EE, as it just doesn't seem to save a lot of time. We aren't getting to the RPH until later the night before, so no need to wake up early unless we need to.

We've been here since Friday, I've been checking wait times and they're often around there, broken down or not. When we did get in line, it was 90 minutes...and it wasn't broken down when we got in line...but broke down twice while we were in line.

I was there first week in October. I did the single rider line first because I had limited time and didn't want to miss it. Ride broke 2x while I was on it. They gave us a fast pass good anywhere else in the park. I came back two hours later and showed my fast pass for the EE line - she let me in but told me to keep the pass to use elsewhere. Used it on 4 other rides - the employees kept apologizing for the problem and just let me ride . Got on gringotts, transformers, minions and something else with it

Can't really seem to find a pattern! Just this morning, park opened at 8. We got in line at 9:20 with a 30 minute wait. Got on the rise in exactly 30 minutes!!!

Last week it was primarily 60 to 105 minutes. It's all over the board.

According to someone we rode the HE with, it broke down right after EE this morning and they were told it'd be at least 4 hours before it was back. Not many happy people!

We were there this morning and wasted an hour in line. Hulk was down too when we were in line. We are going to try Gringotts tomorrow with EE. Hopefully it is working.

one night last week i went to gringotts around 5:30 as the park was closing at 7 that night.

they closed the line for the ride as the wait inside was up to 90 minutes so all inside would be on the ride and out around the time the park was to close.


some days will be that way so don't wait until the last hour to try to get on gringotts.
but, if you want to try at the end of the park day for the ride, it might be just opposite of my experience.

Trying to decide if it is worth hitting up Gringotts first and then doubling WAY back to ride DM. Or if we should hit DM first and hope the lines haven't become massive by the time we get back to Gringotts.

If I were going again (we're currently driving back from a week at universal). I wouldn't even bother with EE as it can totally be hit or miss. That said, we just kept an eye on the wait times app, and walked thru DA often. Finally, one day around 9:30 am it wasn't broken down and the wait was short (30 minutes). It was broken down more than half the times we walked thru, twice during EE.
