Having gone through the stage of my children not being old or tall enough for rides, now I have the opposite problem with DD who is too old for things she would like to do!

I have justread that you need to be 9 and under to visit the Grinch's Lair. She was really looking forward to seeing this, she is 11 years old. Would she be able to go in and accompany her brother who is 8 years old? Also the Mt Crumpit Ride, could she act as a chaperone with him on that too, or will she be allowed on anyway, what is the age or height restriction exactly?

This is the first time I've encountered this problem, hope someone out there can help me out here!

Thanks a bunch :D

You must be 9 or under to play in the snow. The Grinch's Lair is open to all.

i read that an adult can travel with a small child down mt. crumpit so there shouldnt be a problem with an older sister doing it....good luck hope she has a good time

On Mt. Crumpit an adult can go with the child if anyone wishes to do so. Although last year me and my friend didn't notice the height limit and went on in the line anyway, and although the employees hesitated we got to ride anyway.

I, too, was disappointed to read that Mt. Crumpit was intended for those 9 & under. I only exeed that by 30 ro so years, what's the big deal? I am a HUGE fan of the original animated Grinch & was looking forward to the experience of Grinchmas. When I pouted, hubby offered to distract the attraction attendants to give me a chance to make a break for it...LOL! Hmmmm....still think I might be noticed, but won't know till I try! Seriously, I do plan to ask. After all, I am a kid at heart. How can they deny me? If all else fails, will have to ask my 9 y/o to let me go w/him, I guess. Can't wait till 12/15!!!!!

Wow, my son turns 9 the week we get there! He's also almost 5 feet tall so I'm sure we'll get looks....

Thanks everyone for your help, hopefully DD will be OK to ride with DS :D

It's good to hear that the Grinch's Lair is open to all, having read on another thread that it is only open to Under 9s, can anyone who has visited the Lair confirm it is open to all ages please?

Thanks :D
