Hello,

We are arriving 2 days early for our cruise.

Have touring plans for KSC for the day.

We were thinking of going to Grills on Saturday night.

Has anyone done this?

How was the food?

W want to see the Magic sail. Do we need to make reservations, how far in advance?

Thanks for your help.:D

We at there the night before departing. The food was good. They do not accept reservations. They will put your name on the list I think 30 minutes prior to arrival. We waited about an hour to be seated. It is very crowded and not much waiting room. It was even more crowded, because it started to rain & everyone wanted to stand inside.

Ate there twice. The food is good, the view of the port as the ships go by is nice, and if there's a fishing tourney that's even more fun watching the boat ramp. :)

Thanks for the Info. I printed out the coupons.

It would be nice to see the Magic depart the port.

I assume we would have to get there early to see that. And since it is in a couple of weeks, it gets darker earlier.

Getting very excited. :hyper: :hyper: :hyper: :hyper: :hyper:

We had dinner at Grill's the night before we went on the Wonder. It was wonderful seeing the ships depart to sea! We had a fairly light dinner - just some grilled chicken sandwiches which were wonderful.

We always arrive at the Port early. We eat at Grills for lunch when we arrive, lol, dinner that night, and breakfast the next morning before we board the ship.

Grills is fantastic. It can get a little busy during peak dinner times.

Can you walk there from the Raddison? Last time we were there we got in late and just had room service at the Raddison but this time we are getting there in the afternoon so plenty of time to enjoy the big pool and go out to dinner!

Mark, we would want to go to Grills on Saturday to watch the Magic sail. We'll be on the Wonder on Sunday evening. Much better view than trying to catch it on the web cam. ;)

Aprilgail2 - Walking to Grills from the Radisson - it is a long way.

We stayed at the Radisson last year and found that we really wanted a car. We walked to the ocean - go across the street from the Radisson and just keep walking. The walk was very long and then at the end, you had to walk through a condo to get to the water. It was a nice walk, but that is a wider part of island. Grills is even farther North. If you do want to go, I've heard of people taking a taxi.

So excited to be going soon.

Walking to Grill's from the Radisson is not practical nor safe....you must walk along the highway for a portion and then it through some industrial areas....really not feasible at all.

Go with a taxi or rent a car.

We love Grill's....it is a very laid back, casual place with the feel of a Jimmy Buffet song.....

Here are some pics of I took from there a few years ago.
