Anyone have any images of grilling? Could be with or without characters. I was thinking about making DH an apron for Father's Day. I love the "Life is Good" saying in rumblytumbly's photobucket.
TIA

Thanks taekwondomom, that's perfect, but when I copy it to Photoshop elements, it just shows the layer as "image" & I can't do anything with it. Any suggestions?

Oh, Natalie, I love them:) too cute. However, when my husband grills, there is thick black smoke and hockey pucks for dinner:)

Thanks, Natalie. The Goofy one by himself is a little small. In fact I was adding words above & below it like: #1 griller & dad...Happy Father's Day 2008. I was trying to put a border around it. I think I figured out how to do a basic square one, but is it possible to do like an ellipse? I am using a trial of Photoshop Elements & only have about 13 days left to play around. I can make a big ellipse & fill it with a background color, but is there a way to just make a thin outline of it?
TIA

You will need to simplify the ellipse layer then find the Stroke command. On my version, #4 I think, it's on the Edit menu. There you will be able to select the size, # of pixels, and color of your line. For a double line effect:

1. Stroke with any color other than your background color.

2. Making sure the Outside (not Center or Inside) option is checked stroke again using the background color.

3. Stroke a third time with either the same color as the first line or a different one making sure that Outside is still checked.

Thanks DOM..........

I'm probably the only one here that does not use PSE (or PS). I use Microsoft Digital Image 2006 and the format is very different.

Thanks, Dom...that worked perfectly. I was on the right track, I just wasn't simplifying the layer 1st. What does that do anyway? Sometimes I will try to add an effect & get that pop up message about simplifying the layer, but then I can't modify it?
